SMALL BUSINESS BC AWARDS GALA 2020
February 19, 2020 - British Columbia
The 17th annual Small Business BC Awards is now only days away - an awards process that started on October 1st will culminate this Friday, February 21st with the announcement of the 2020 winners of the SBBC Awards at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
This year saw 611 small businesses across BC nominated, with 44970 votes cast, 70 extended applications submitted and 35 small business owners giving their elevator pitch to panels of industry experts.
The finalists represent small businesses from across British Columbia, from a tiny home manufacturer in Vernon, to a clean cosmetics company in Salmon Arm, and a famous cat-focused cafe in Vancouver. This year's nominations show the breadth and innovation of the BC small business community, which is poised to flourish in the coming years.
Erin Cebula will be the emcee - as guests will enjoy dinner, drinks, and networking with BC’s top business owners, industry leaders and government officials, all with glittering views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore mountains.
Small Business BC Award winners will receive the Premier's Prize in the amount of $1,500 cash, a one-year All-Access Pass to Small Business BC education and experts, and the honour of being named a top BC small business.
